Amelia Earhart Her disappearance in 1937 during an attempt to fly around the world is a mystery that continues to intrigue people worldwide. Amelia Mary Earhart was born in Atchison, Kansas, on July 24, 1897.         Pushpaka Vimana The word  Vimana  comprises of  Vi , “the sky” and  Mana , meaning, “measure”. Like modern planes it was in silvery white in colour (shiny). It can fly fast, like modern Boeing or Airbus planes. Normally the jet planes fly 500 to 600 miles an hour during long distance flights. History  Pushpaka Vimana :  According to the indian mythology,  Kubera, the Lord of Wealth, had an air plane according to Valmiki Ramayana.
