Pushpaka Vimana Secrets & Some Facts_Indian legendary Airplane.

The word Vimana comprises of Vi, “the sky” and Mana, meaning, “measure”.
Like modern planes it was in silvery white in colour (shiny). It can fly fast, like modern Boeing or Airbus planes. Normally the jet planes fly 500 to 600 miles an hour during long distance flights.

History Pushpaka Vimana : 

According to the indian mythology, Kubera, the Lord of Wealth, had an air plane according to Valmiki Ramayana. It was called Pushpaka Vimana. That was the earliest plane that the human beings knew. Ravana confiscated it from Kubera. After Ravana death Vibhshana, brother of Ravana, presented the air plane to Lord Rama. This was the fastest plane in those days.


Some Interesting Facts Pushpaka Vimana :

  • A similar reference is found in regards of Saint Tukaram,  Lord Vishnu was so impressed by the devotion and singing of Saint Tukaram that when his time came, a Pushpak Viman (a heavenly aircraft shaped as an eagle) came to take him to heaven.
  • Rama flew the plane by THOUGHT POWER! says Valmiki Ramayana.
  • It took only ONE DAY to cover the distance between Sri Lanka and Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh of India. 
  • Vibhishana assured Rama SAFETY! Now a days we hear safety instructions before plane takes off. It was same in Rama’s days! We wish everyone ‘’Have a safe journey’’.
  • Puspaka Vimana (Yuddha 125) was similar to a modern Jumbo jet Like Airbus A380 & Boieng 747.
  • Very high speed , distance of about 1400 miles from Ceylon to Ayodhya in six hours. This shows the speed to be at least 250 miles per hour.
  • Space to accomodate many people, Vanaras and Raksasas with wives were accomodated, that means at least 200 people were seated in Puspaka. The modern Jumboes carry about 300 people.
  • It was taking the speed desired by the pilot, They think that a person seated in Puspaka had just to think of the speed and it used to take that speed, this is quite challenging when think it now this  idea.
The Puspaka Vimana was like a Jumbo jet or Concord, a civilian Aeroplane.

  • As early i had said , Rama flew the plane by THOUGHT POWER! says Valmiki Ramayana.
  • Pushpak Vimana  been controlled by human thought.Technique, called electroencephalography, used to record brain waves.
  • These recordings then transmitted to the Pushpak Vimana's  WiFi to control it.
